assisting Senior Project Managers with the management and oversight of strategic internal initiatives. Oversight includes all functional areas involved in delivering the successful implementation of these strategic initiatives (e.g. Technology; Operations).
Responsibilities:
Back up to Project Managers
Strategize and formulate solutions with the Project Manager
Participate in and lead project Working Groups
Lead cross-functional meetings
Organize, support and lead project team meetings
Ensure the maintenance of a central repository of project documentation
Create and maintain a cross organizational project plan that represents tasks from all participating organizations
Create and edit project status updates and presentations for management
Qualifications:
A candidate with a BS/BA degree with 1 to 4 years of related experience, MBA preferred
In addition, this individual must possess:
Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills – a team player
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
The ability to perform very detail-oriented work
The ability to be flexible and multi-task
The ability to complete work assignments independently
Experience with technology projects a plus
Experience in financial services, particularly banking
A successful candidate in this position will be provided opportunities to take on advanced responsibilities, with a growth path to a more senior project management role.
Compensation: 80K
